Rebakah Madelynn Hart-O’Sullivan was killed in a shooting at her home in the 100 block of Todd Drive NE just after 7:30 p.m. Police say there was reportedly a domestic dispute between Rebakah Hart-O’Sullivan and her husband, who was identified as 53-year-old Patrick William O’Sullivan.

Neighbors identified the couple as Johnny and Nancy Clark. They said Nancy was suffering from dementia and Johnny was trying to care for her. He had health issues too, however, and they said it was tough on him. “He had a hard time just caring for himself,”said neighbor Elizabeth Hurley, who added, “it’s just a sad situation.”

She gave of her love, her time, and her talents to carve a special place in their hearts that would forever leave a positive nurturing impact.

Greenville police were called to the home at 105 S. Warren St. where the Hardees had lived for decades on Tuesday to investigate a shooting that killed both of them just before 1 p.m. “Sybil and Ray were down-to-earth and they’d do anything in the world to help you,” Stoneham said.

The couple had lived in the home for decades, and neighbors said they had heard them argue in the past. Officers were called to a home on Tiffany Court early Friday morning and found 72-year-old Edna Strother dead from a gunshot wound to her stomach.

Deputies responded to a call at a home on N.C. Highway 306 in Grantsboro on Wednesday and found 74-year-old Raymond Griffin with a gunshot wound to his chest. A news release from the sheriff’s office said the Griffins both lived at the home.

This morning at 2:43 am the Asheville Police Department responded to Walton Street after reports of a possible suicide attempt. Upon arrival officers located Alvin William Wilson who was attempting to harm himself. Wilson notified officers that he had harmed his girlfriend, Tina Marie Knighten, 62 years of age, of Asheville. Officers responded to 127 Bartlett Street and found Knighten deceased.

Thirty-year-old Dana Annette Foster of Level Cross died at the scene. Twenty-eight-year-old Dustin Ricky Wilkie of Level Cross was taken to a hospital for treatment of his injuries. Chabot said the two were in a relationship. He says it appears the shooting was a murder-suicide attempt. Deputies are still investigating.

Inside the home, investigators found the bodies of 39-year-old Kacey Case Haney, of 182 Lonon Lane, and 49-year-old Christopher Scott Childres, of 43 E. Oakwood Drive in Nebo. Outside the home, they located the body of Jeffrey Dale Haney, 48, whose address is also listed as 182 Lonon Lane.
