Resignation of Pam Hester as Families Living Violence Free Executive Director
It is with regret and sadness we announce that after almost four years leading Families Living Violence Free, Granville County’s only Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Crisis Center, Pam Hester is stepping down to begin the next chapter of her career.
During her time with Families Living Violence Free, Pam has worked tirelessly to promote our organization in our communities while expanding the services provided to clients. This growth has led to expanding FLVF’s fulltime staff and relocating the agency to its new location at 125 Outer Loop Road, Oxford. Her compassion and unique skills have resulted in positive benefits to both victims of domestic violence and sexual assault, and have been a driver in helping survivors celebrate new beginnings. Underpinning the delivery of these services has been Pam’s unwavering dedication and strong leadership. Pam has led a dedicated team, each of whom plays an integral role in the everyday running of such an important and vital non-profit organization.
Pam leaves Families Living Violence Free to expand her career as Vance County’s Tourism Development Director and we sincerely thank her for her contribution and leadership during her tenure as Executive Director.
The Executive Board will oversee agency operations until the recruitment process of finding a new Director is complete. This will ensure continuity and aid in the transition of a new Director.
The FLVF Board wishes Pam much success in her continuing career path.
